I ordered a dress for my formal that was designed by Alyce Designs. I had tried it on in a local prom store but wanted to see if I could find a better price online. It was made of a jersey knit fabric with a low back. When I ordered the dress I wanted to order a size up because it's easier for a seamstress to take a dress in as opposed to letting out especially with jersey. First the dress didn't come until a month later and when it came it was a bright red satin, instead of a purple jersey, and came without any tags saying it was an Alyce Design. Also the back was a normal height, not a low back, additionally since it didn't have a tag I measured the dress and it was 2 inches smaller than I ordered in the hips and an inch smaller in the waist and a half inch too large in the bust. Also there was a slit in the dress that came about mid-thigh when I tried it on in the store but the slit in the dress I ordered was at my panty line which was not okay. I e-chatted close to seventeen times[because there is no phone number] with the customer service rep. about getting my money back but they never got back to me. It's five months later and I've given up even though I have sent pictures of the dress, measurements of the dress, pictures of me measuring the dress and multiple complaints to the company. Apparently the company is based out of China so I can't file any complaints with the BBB or any United States enforcement of commerce.
