The Mortgage Law Group contacted me to expedite a HAMP mod thru Bank of America who held the mortgage, We became late due to My getting injured on the job and getting laid off (fired) anyway, The lawyer who contacted Us is named Tom Veth Who said that there offices are in Chicago, but can work in any state. We can send a Lawyer to Colorado to handle this Mortgage crisis. We were trying to get the HAMP mod for 8 months thru Bank of America, 6 (six) times we submitted the "same" paperwork and Bank of America said they either never got it ,we must have lost some pages ,we faxed it wrong , filled it out incorrectly, or some other BS excuse. (they never admit there faults,so Gov't bailouts is the result) So.... We thought the Mortgage Law Group was on the up -n-up and was going to "help us" resolve this misfortune of ours. Tom Veth pushed all the right buttons, "The Lender is clearly at fault, and he was personly gonna punish them for that" . And what the time line of late payments was, and being injured and loosing my 25yr career was understandably the reason for the oversight.( was also gonna punish them for being so heartless) and if the house was in foreclose, and if a sale date was known. ----- Bank of America does not follow commonly adhered to foreclose Laws, it utilizes under handed methods. Some states allow this by rules of law. ie (court dates set and notices sent out, then a court date set for hearing and if you don't show, or loose the case.. .then you move) they do it a quiet way..a small note saying pay-up ... THEN 45 DAYS LATER ,if you read the small print, the county treasurer auctions off your house to the highest bidder. NO Court date or nothing. So after I found this sale date hidden in the mailing, I became frantic ,and we were told that everything would be fine and they would take care of everything..............But it would cost 4500$ ( if I had that, I could pay the mortgage that was in arrears ) but we went ahead and caved in to there demands and contracted with them. and they E-mailed me the documents and they said to electronically sign them ,and Tom walked us how to sign them ( they were already filled in, prefilled and just to sign and he would save our house. Tom said they would call for 5 days , every day .they did, called every day for 7 days or so ,then on the 3rd day ,BAM ! they were SO RUDE TO ME , telling me I need to get 2 more jobs to make my payments and to rent out a room to someone to help pay. Im on permanate Disability! So this other lawyer who works there named Robert Richy told me that (after 2weeks of them doing nothing but yelling at me and insulting my intelegence ) there was nothing he could do to help and hung up on me. I called to complain and was "given to" Xavier Poole, a paralegal ,he seemed like he was afraid of his own shadow, and really "didn't know" anything and asked if I tried to call the Attny. in charge of my case so I called Tom Veth , again! 7 times I tried to call, and never got a return call or even a "kiss my Ass!". So I tried my luck again with Bank of America, and found out that the girl who handled my HAMP modification was fired. and they let me talk to her replacement, and I tried to reason with her..... it worked ! she pushed my paperwork thru personally. and I got my 3 month trial period, and my mortgage dropped 37.00$ ???????? The Mortgage Law Group finally called, and said they were closing your case, you got the HAMP mod. you wanted .The Mortgage Law Group Has done nothing!!!! But they keep trying to withdraw funds on my bank accnt. above and beyond the 4500. they stole from me by LIES, STRONGARM TACTICS, taking advantage of someone's misfortune for personal gain should be punishable by loosing all of there material wealth and living out the balance of there miserable lives in a Maytag box.!! And the Corporation sued for OUT RIGHT FRAUD
