This information is an addendum to complaint #7213.

I was searching for a used Airstream on CraigsList and came across a 2005 Airstream for sale for $10,000. I inquired for further details and was contacted by the seller, Gulum Williams.

The following was his response: Sorry for the late response.The airstream is still available.I had a buyer but his loan did not get approved. The final price is $10000 , so if you are still interested please let me know asap,so I can provide some pictures!

This 28' Safari LS is in excellent Condition., never been involved in accidents,clean and clear title, no mechanical problems, no smells and odors,all functional and it will need nothing in the near future. I inherited it from my uncle from Los Banos, California who had health issues and took great care of it.I am in a training mission in Helena, Montana for two months until 15th of June but if you're not able to pick this up I have some great news for you. The shipping will take 5-6 days thru DAS and it will be free, my previous buyer already paid for it and DAS didn't want to refund him so I have the trailer sealed at California DAS terminal ready to be shipped out.I would like to use ebay motors vehicle purchase protection to take care of this deal, smooth and safe. Let me know if you have any other questions, hope i didn't miss anything, if we use ebay program this is not a sight unseen deal anymore.

I then did some searching on the internet and came across the information on ScamBook. I have since backed out of the deal altogether. I do not know if this is or would have been a fraudelent transaction but would encourage anyone interested to proceed with caution.
