I ordered a pair of Ariat shoes for $58 from shop-cora.com on April 12, 2012. In early May 2012, I received a strange small envelope in the mail from China (didn't know shop-cora was based in China). Inside was a small Scotch-Brite scrub sponge. I didn't put the two together until about May 15, 2012, when I still had not received my shoes. I tried to contact shop-cora only to find that the e-mail address and phone numbers were nonexistant. I contacted PayPal and placed a complaint. PayPal reached shop-cora and was told that my package had arrived. PayPal thought I should drop the complaint because there was a tracking number showing my receipt of the product. I looked up the post office tracking and found that I was mailed a "letter," definitely not a package or box. I could not get the weight, and unfortunately, the envelope the sponge had come in was already thrown out and the sponge had been used once. I still had the celophane packing for the sponge, though, and contacted PayPal again, telling them they would probably be better able to learn the weight of the product I received and that I never got the shoes, just this weird little sponge. PayPal is refunding my money, but I have to send the sponge back to China in a way that is tracked online. I have e-mailed the post office regarding whether their international certified mail tracks online. If so, my loss will be a little over $4. If not, I will have to send another route, which will probably cost in the neighborhood of $25. I added another $30 to my loss because at the time I placed my order with shop-cora.com, there were several legitimate sites with the shoes I ordered on sale. By the time I placed my order, though, after over a month fooling around with shop-cora, all the sale shoes in my size were gone. I had to pay full price - a loss over over $30. I just wish I had gotten that sponge really stinky.
