Once again Same Day Loans have scammed! I was called and told I qualified for a loan and asked to go to the newsagent and request a UKASH Voucher for the first months payment on the loan as I couldn't provide a guarantor. It was explained that if I paid my first months instalment there and then I would have funds in my account within half an hour. So I rushed off to get this voucher although I was very skeptical - I still did it. I then rang the chap back and gave him the voucher number. He told me that he would put this through the portal and call me back to let me know monies had been released. I waited and waited for a call so I then called them. I was passed to another person who explained that I needed to pay another £195.00 but he would give this back to me in my loan (some sort of tax), he then asked me if I had used the first voucher as it had failed. I was furious and told him that until that day I had never even heard of UKASH and wouldn't know how to use it. He was insistent that the voucher had been used, at which point I stated to panic as I knew I had been scammed and I had just lost £110.00. I told the guy to put the number of the voucher in again and he told me he would do this and then call me back. Unfrotunately, he never called me back and I knew that my money was gone. I actually felt physically sick.
