Reach Local Rep Randy out of the Tysons office in Northern VA promised me between 1-2 calls a day if I signed on with Reach Local. He even played me phone calls from my competitors "which is illegal" to try and get my business. This should have been enough of a red flag but I signed on anyway. I received a total of 22 calls over a 3 month period and of the 22 only 5 were legit. Of the 5 only 2 went through to produce some kind of income. 11 of the calls were under 10 seconds with no response to my hello on the other end of the line. The other 6 calls were from out of state which makes then impossible for me to service.
I brought this up to Randy and the end result was a meeting with the top brass in the Tysons office. They proceeded to tell me that this was the worst preforming account they've ever seen and they would try to adjust it to save the account. I told them they'd already lost the account and I just want to be released from my contract. They granted my request because they couldn't argue the horrible service.
What they don't know is that I recorded the entire hour long conversation with the brains behind Reach Local. If you are thinking about using Reach Local I beg you to listen to my recording first.
