We purchases two loveseats from Ethan Allen in Mobile Alabama that were delivered in July 2010. By December 2010 we noticed that the seats on all four cushions were significantly faded and no longer matched the rest of the fabric on the loveseats. We contacted the store in Mobile but they went out of business in January with no resolution for us. We have contacted the factory at least 8 times and sent pictures of the fading which has gotten much worse since then. They reviewed the pictures and informed us that they have no liability for the fabric. They are only liable for the construction and manufacturing of the loveseats. I had asked them only for 10 yards of the material that is on the love seat so I can have the four cushions recovered plus some fabric to spare in case of additional fading. I asked them for nothing else. The material costs $25.00 per yard retail and would have cost them $12.50 per yard or less. They could have satisfied my complaint for $125.00 or less but instead they choose to refuse to help, thus they lost a 30 year customer who has a house full of Ethan Allen, but who will never purchase another piece from them.
