My name is Lisa Conroy, and I bought a ticket online with the company Skysearcheronline yesterday.
This company advertises that they take credit cards but to my surprise when trying to pay with my credit card their system gave me an error message saying to chose a different kind of payment because they weren't able to accept my credit card at that moment.
I chose to send them cash through Western Union and they told me that it would take 24 hours for them to receive the money and confirm my itinerary. Please note that they request the money to be sent to a person named VASILIJS SATOLOVS, not to the Company.
Today they sent me a confirmation and eticket number for American Airlines. I called American Airlines and they don't recognize either one, they also tried to look up my reservation by my flight information and last name but I am not in their system.
I called skysearcheronline and they answered, they told me that it would take another 24 hours to resolve this because the system sent me a wrong confirmation number. I have friends who work at the Airline and they are trying to help me find out what's going on, so far they've told me that the ticket number this website gave me belongs to someone else. I wrote an email to them telling them all of this but I haven't heard back from them after that.
I am afraid I have been victim of a scam!
I would like to know if there is something that you can do? This company says to be based in Hong Kong and the UK.
