- It looks like I've been a victim of the same scam as Linda. I looked at my bank account and had an overdraft and a charge of $149.95 from E Credit Authority. This is the second account in 2 months I've had to close and it's really starting to suck. Not to mention that I'm on SSDI and I have a representative payee who has to do all this for me including going into the bank with me and opening another account and he's not well, has to drive 30 minutes to come and get me and it's just not right. I don't know what to do at this point.
