- Reported Damages: $29.95
I noticed a charge on April 24th to my bank account for 29.95. I called the number and they said they would cancel the service and refund my money also getting rid of all further charges. I took down the address and IP address they gave me and requested they tell me what the name of the service is/was. They said they could not do that at this time and I would have to call back during business hours. I called the ISP and had them search for the email address and found it does not exist nor did it ever exist. The IP address they gave me belongs to a net hosting company that currently is not leasing IP addresses or doing business, and that IP address is not even live.
I called the service center back and still got the run around. I am going to recontact them during "business hours". Funny thing is they could not tell me what those hours were. They also said I would just call the same number. I noticed some of the other complaints said this happened to them after Ocwen servicing took over their mortgage which recently happened to me as well. Hopefully I will be able to get more info in the AM, but looking at the other reports I doubt that will happen. I have a feeling I will be asking my bank for a refund and changing my account numbers tomorrow. I am also filing a police report and sending it off to the FBI, hopefully this will get some traction and get this company shut down.
