As retired seniors not by choice, more than likely because of old age we were laid off of work. Who wants an old person to represent your company(clerical,salesperson,office manager). I am not a wealthy senior ,I am on social security benifets only. I saw an add on TV about Insiders Edge Financial. I attended and was sweet talked into joining because you need no money or credit,yet you can make this tremendious amount of money. This is so highly emphasied at the siminar. First siminar is free, but to really learn how to do this investing you need to attend the second sininar at a cost of $2000.00. Here Gerald Martin prances up and down the isle telling you about all the $8000.00 you will be putting into your pocket. He brags on about how much money he has made and tells everyone how we to can do it. "It's easy". After this session you must sign up now to learn how to become a millionaire.This was the one and only time you could do it.The cost of this siminar where I was to become a millionaire would cost $25,000.00. I told these sales people many times how poor I basically was. I was given the bargain price of $10,000.00. I am a senior getting $500.00 a month social security.They talked me into using my credit card, anyhow I would be able to pay in two months. They also said that if I did not have a credit card to borrow the money from someone. I fell for that gave them my card, no contract was ever presented until after our card was run. Then I was given a folder with papers and signed them I had been there over 8 hrs. How thrilled I was to be able to supplement my income.About a month later a group called PMI called and we got the same pitch on how we needed them (price $3000.00) and this was how we would make all this money because now we would have a mentor (David Whitmer) This whole investor thing ,they wanted me to do does not work. The home owners would have to be idiots to sell their houses for 60% off. Now six months later I have not been able to make this work. All the real estate workers I have contacted have such pity for me. They have tried to make it work for me. One real estate broker told me to look on the scam web and see what was on there about Insiders Edge/Financial.
I know this is a fraud/scam to a senior who now cannot pay the credit card, because of having to take care of my daily necessities (food,utilities etc.). As a senior I felt if I could make this investor thing work and I would still be independent.This company prys on the vulnerable seniors.
