I received an email from I assume a fictitious person named Rose Ambrose who claimed that she wanted to buy an item that I had for sale on Craigslist. The correspondence that ensued is below this paragraph. You can read from the bottom up.
The check this person sent was drafted from The University of Wisconsin Madison and the bank involved was US Bank. The check looks real. I assume it's a fake since I found another complaint on Evelyn Gosnell on this site. The address for this Evelyn Gosnell i was given is not real. I researched the person through the web and the address that came up was different from this Rose person sent me. Please be aware that this is a scam. I would hate to see someone suffer monetary loss from this kind of thing.

location,so  the pick up of the Item can be done as soon as possible.

Once this has been done, I will want you to send me your Map Quest and
fix a proper day for the pick up of the Item. I will be looking forward
to hear from you Soon

Note** Email be directly to my box, dont email email different from the
one am using with you, Follow my instruction..
Ok Rose. Maybe I'm a bit paranoid because there have been scams that I've read about where people do what you are doing and then the people who have sold the item wind up on the hook for the entire amount of money that is sent when the check comes through as non sufficient funds or it's a bogus bank all together.
Please understand my situation: I am unemployed, no income coming in, owe   Several thousands of dollars to loans, credit cards, rent, utilities, etc...
I am selling assets to allow me to pay my bills not because I want to. I have a family that I'm trying to support and looking for work. If This winds up as a bad deal then it will just be devastating to my family.
I hope that if I give you the benefit of the doubt, and this is real I will do what you ask and I will apologize.
