Called my home phone. Said they were a tech support team for Microsoft and Windows customers. Said I had malware issues and that error code 888 DCA 60 had alerted them to call me. Showed me several warnings and errors and said they are alerted if it is over 10. Said my computer was 39 months old. Said the software service and maintenance warranty that came with the computer ended in 36 months and that I was supposed to have called the team and renewed the software. Said if I didn't renew my computer would eventually crash and I would get a blue or black screen. Said it would cost $129 for 6 months; $199 for 1 year; or $299 for 2 years. Said his name is Jeffery Morris and his employee number is AD16820. He asked me which time period I would like to activate, I said I wanted to look further into why I received no communication when the original warranty expired. At that point, he hung up on me. I then posted this complaint.
