I just went through this. I called an FYE store and was given this number to cancel: 877.351.2131. They will try to sell you on keeping it. BE FIRM. You can also file a dispute with your card/bank.

There is no possible way FYE charged your account without you being in the store at least one time and signed up for one of the discount cards they offer. If you have children and let them use your card, this is probably why. You will not be able to sue for theft because on EVERY receipt FYE gives you after you sign up there is a statment saying you under stand that after the first thirty days this card will no longer be free and there will be a 11.99 charge per month, and THEN they will give you another paper in which you have to sign saying you are completely understanding that they will charge that card that you used when they signed you up. You gave complete consent for not FYE, but the company that goes through fye with the discount card, to take the charge from your account. But if you go to bspvip.com you can cancel the card and tell them that you did not realize you were going to get charged and they will refund your money. Next time, READ your receipts and make sure no funny business is going on.

Actually I have a debit card and have had one for about a year before the same charges on my account by the same merchant. I never authorized the 11.99 a month charge which was posted on my account as a multiple charge. If what you say is true then I would have never been charged this amount at this time, If it were true I would have had a credit card charged not my debit and after the 30 days I would have noticed the charged then, but I don't have a credit card, I am being charged by a scam and IT's happening now not months earlier.

My FATHER has had this group removing money from hes account for 2+ years company have been removing funds from in the amount $11.99 and the other in the amounts of between $19.95 and $24.00 per months for years. There is suppose to be an account for this as well as a contract, however we have not received any copies of it or proof. This is a total scam and at no time was this something that was ordered or agreed to.

if I hadn't checked my bank balance that day I would still pay them cause I would never have noticed. I am a lot more vigilant about checking my bank account. I am also going to call them and demand my money back if they do not I will press charges. I never signed up with it and what they did was theft plain and simple. FYE needs to be prosecuted for stealing money from hundred's of people. They're criminals

I just had to cancel and order a new checking card because of this. The charge is for the VIP membership card; however, I distinctly remember telling them that I did not want to sign-up for the membership.
It was even more upsetting to find that they charged me twice last month $11.99 and twice this month.
*The card is advertised at $11.99 a month.*
*I know it has been at least 45 days since I have been to FYE.*
I'm going to FYE tomorrow to make sure that it is not an in-store credit program, so that it wont effect my credit score but, this really pisses me off.

The phone number to cancel with should be on your billing statement and in the pamphlet that the vip bsp came with. If not call the fye and ask for the number. Or you can register with the online feature and cancel that way. But sadly, tlg sells your email addy so calling would be the safest route. As Han Solo would say, "good luck, you're gonna need it."

You must have autherized it. To get charged for this you have to do 2 things. 1.) You have to pay at an FYE with a card and 2.) You have to sign something saying that you got it and understand the terms. If your card wasn't there there is no way FYE could have the number. And if the store doesn't send a signed slip in it will not be activated

Would like to point out that we are trained to tell you it is a free 30 day trial. Then tell you that if you don't cancel you will get charged. and it says everything right in the booklet you get

You have to sign into the website in the booklet you get (fyevip.com) and print coupons from there

Just thought I should let you know that it isn't a scam. I am an associate at FYE. The BSP VIP is a discount card that we offer that works at our store as well as others. If you use a credit card you get a free 30 day trial. After that if you don't cancel it costs $11.99/month. Whatever associate rang you out is suppose to mention that it costs after the 30days. So either they didn't mention it or you didn't listen. If you still have the receipt of whatever you bought call the store and tell the manager who rang you out.

It is not a scam. There are plenty of people who actually use their card. Just someone who didn't listen past the word "free", someone not doing their job correctly, and someone not looking at their credit card statements. So next time you try to blame someone else for something make sure you have all the facts straight

Please file with your bank. They do have insurance against fradulent transactions. I am sure u will get the money back. But please don't delay asap
Hi: I was scammed last week by an indivisual. My advise to all who get scammed to file with attorney general, IC3 & local police. Lastly with Western Union and ask them for providing insurance on the transfers for fraud and scams. This way they become more vigilant and hold the receiving companies responsible. When I complaint to Western Union the lady said no body complains to us. If everyone who got scammed complained then they will go after scammers. Thanks

This is FYI Backstage Pass VIP club. You must have signed up at some point in the recent past at a store for a free one month trial, after which you were automatically billed. Call up 1-877-351-2131 and ask to have the membership cancelled. They will probably ask why you're cancelling, pressure you not to, etc. but they will gladly cancel it for you.
