  • Was this ordered online? If so, what was the URL? You did not state if you called a phone number or ordered online. If it was an ad in a newspaper or a magazine with a phone number, then the publisher of the ad would have the information on who placed the ad. The police need that info to try to get the offenders.

    If you ordered online, then the FCC will be interested in the fraud. Also, the webhosting company that is hosting the website used for the fraud would be interested in knowing that their hosting is being used for illegal or unethical purposes. They can shut down the website and give the information to the proper authorities for who the people are.

    These kinds of scams are everywhere lately. I hope you can get your money back. That is way too much for a swivel spice rack considering the fact that our local CVS pharmacy has them for the lower price.
