We then contacted action fraud, who were only to aware of this company, they told us they were being investigated. We received a crime number, we then went to our bank and told them these transactions were unauthorised by my wife, and under FSA rules we requested the money be returned. They I am happy to say refunded my wife's money. You see they have to, unless the bank or your money can prove she did authorise the transactions, which of course they can't as they are running a scam.
So contact action fraud, then print off FSA rules, and head to your bank demanding these unauthorised charges are returned to you.
Any help you need just ask
Yes we did go to our bank today, and reminded the bank of the FSA Rules, that state if a banking customer denies authorising a transaction, then its up to the firm to prove this transaction was authorised, obviously something your-money.tv can not prove as this is an out and out scam.
We also reminded the bank of the FSA rule that states if a banking customer says he or she did not authorise a transaction the bank must then refund the customer within a reasonable amount of time.
We also told them the matter was also with action fraud, for which we had a crime number.
so in the end they had no choice but to refund.
This despite your-money.tv saying we had signed up for a membership with them. They even had the cheek to ask us to contact there fraud hotline, yeah right........
But anyway got our money back
Write a letter,by recorded delivery, stating the withdrawal was unauthorised. They have to pay you your money back. You do not have to deal with the company!!!!and the bank have to pay it back immediately, and problems get back to me.
Your bank has to pay you the money back NOW,you DO NOT HAVE TO WAIT.They can conduct checks at their leisure, but they have to pay back NOW.Uoy have to prove NOTHING and they know it!!!!!,any problems get back to me.
