  • Hi Sharon, I wrote a real (paper) letter to the 2 addresses I found. That one in Perth and one in New York. I sent them registered and they were returned to me as undeliverable. Viaziz is unlikely to respond within the 12 hours either -n I think it took about 5 days before the rude (Inappropriate Content Removed) did answer - Jenny was her name. She is simply rude and ruthless. Dont expect ANY help from this calculating "busineswoman" I couldnt even get a correct address from her. She would not give me ANY phone number or address. They probably dont have one as there would be too many complaints. I raised it with my bank as a credit card dispute and pretty much said what your post said - and how unethical and misleading it is. They did reply saying the case was resolved in my favor by secure email. The funds were credited back to my account but about a week ago they disappeared again! I went into the bank and I believe they had decided not to grant my dispute but fortunately for me (I hope) whoever at the bank who wrote the email saying it had been resolved possibly shouldnt have I am thinking. So that is really the only leg I have to stand on. But please keep trying!!! I urge everyone NOT to give up as this company is scamming people out of lots of money with the deceiving way the site is set up. So my advice is DONT GIVE UP!! I havent. And wont!

  • Hi, I too was caught out this way and on speaking to my bank they do not agree with me saying I was misled. They say that the information is there and I accpted their terms/refund policy. Not good! And on top of that, the initial reverse was given back to them and I was charged another $20 for dispouting it in the first place! Go figure! One big lesson learned here

  • Hi and thank you for taking the time t reply. In Australia we do have the department of Fair Trading which I think will be my next step. I did finally hear back from Viaziz via email. They are mainly saying that their terms and conditions are transparent. They sent me a screenshot of the page that signs you up with the points and I am glad they did as it clearly shows their lack of ethics if nothing else. The "FINISH" button is WAY ABOVE the "your account will be debited $199.99" clause.

  • I feel so bad because this makes me remember how down on myself I felt that I ALLOWED myself to be taken. However, with what I've read its easy with site to be take. All you have to do is REGISTER so dont be so hard on yourself. I've seen where someone suggested this site to file a complaint https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/. Good Luck

  • How is viazizscam.com owned by same person. What is benefit? Complaints not really going anywhere when people think they are??? I read their terms and cond. it said if THEY are the ones who terminate account they will refund money for unused bids. I think you may have a better leg to stand on then some others.

  • WOW!!!!! At least these others Ive seen were just charged $159.00 (not that that's right either) unless they bought a $21.00 pkg that cost them ANOTHER $159.00. That is DEFINITELY fraud. Like someone else pointed out I would also complain to Visa or Mastercard (whichever your card is) that they use their logo on their site.

  • Sis the thing is the terms dont even tell u specifically what it costs. I looked and it said "if you click on any offers your account will be charged for that offer" So it sounds like u guys are saying the offer didnt say what the cost was either. Therefore it could be an arguable defense with your bank. In other words not only was there an automatic charge that their hiding behind by saying it was in the terms but it appears it specifically said bidding package for $21.00. To me thats a different argument.

  • Just curious- I went to the site to see if I could see free bids etc. when I didnt c any I went to their terms page where it of course does say if u click on any offers your card will be charged so if u dont want money taken from account "skip these offers". My question is, once u have given financial info is that where these "FREE" offers are located?

  • If u have the capability to out them on television I think you certainly should do so. not everyone can do that. This $50,000 listed is only the people who have looked on this site. Imagine how much money their taking and its obviously wrong to do this to anyone but u know they have had to have hit people that it literally takes the food off their table. GO FOR IT.

  • In the States we have what is called the Better Business Bureau. This is a type of business watchdog where if u cant resolve a dispute with a business they try to intervene and resolve issue. They also track all complaints made against companies. If they cant it is forwarded to The Attorney Generals Office for resolution. Do u have anything like that in Australia?
