- I believe they did ask for my ss #, and I cancelled it and haven't had any issues come up. I am keeping a close eye on my bank account just to make sure.

- ***you signed up for a membership with freecreditreport that they will charge you for after 9 days so cancel it! "Wellman careers" will continue sending spam messages to your email.

- After falling for this scam as well and doing a lot of research I found out that "wellman careers" are affiliates with freecreditreport.com so basically every time someone clicks on the URL they provide on the website they get paid for it. To be safe I contacted all three credit bureaus and did a credit freeze just to have peace of mind. By doing this no one can open accts, credit cards or get loans in your name. Also contact freecreditreport because you signed up to a membership that they will charge you for after 9 days if you don't cancel it. Change your debit card and be prepared to receive more scam emails from wellman. After all this you should be fine :)

- Me and my sister also fell for this scam!!! After a lot of research we found out wellman is an affiliate with freecreditreport.com so they basically get paid for every time someone clicks on the URL they provide on the website. Just to be safe though, we contacted all three credit bureaus and froze our credit so no one can open accounts,loans,credit cards etc...last but not least contact creditreport because they will charge you after 9 days and be prepared to receive spam from your email...after that you should be fine. This was a total eye opener that this can happen to anyone!

- sam thing with me but once you cancelled it you should be fine and also they didnt ask for your #ss in the prescreening questionnaire part right??
