  • Exactly the same thing happened to me: I signed up for a 3 day "free trial" to see what I could see. The next day I did whatever it was they said you had to do to end the free trial and not subscribe - and then, 3 months later, noticed that Experian had been billing me $16.95 or .99 per month anyway! My so-called free trial has cost me ~$50! I will try calling that 1-877 number and hope that I can cancel that way, because when I went to the bank today I discovered that there is a fee of $31 to put a block on Experian. What a low scam to announce free trials when they intend to make money by hustling you! They should be made to pay back all the money they got in this illicit manner.

  • Anonymous: Do not plan on a quick solution with them I have been trying since May 5,12 and they have not responded to e mails or to phone calls, my amount has totaled $91.80. It started with the (FREE) credit report I asked for 1 time, then they continued to make charges on my account ranging from $19.95 - up to $31.95 and I have no Idea what the charges are for, and they still as of 8/25/12 have not contacted me. I feel for you and if you get yours settled please let us know how you did it. Good Luck. Paso8

  • Contact toll-free at 1-877-284-7942. For your convenience, the Call Center is open: Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time

Tell them you want to cancel, do not let them try to tell you that you can get all your credit reports for free. They will do what they can to keep you as a member. Never give your card info over on line to credit agencies its a big scam.

    Hope I have helped.

  • Ok so you have to actually call Experian. Tell them your name, and zipcode. After that they will ask for your mothers maiden name. Tell them all of that then say I want to cancel, don't let them bullshit you about how they will let you get all three credit reports for free. Anyhow here is how you get in touch with them.

    Contact toll-free at 1-877-284-7942. For your convenience, the Call Center is open: Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time

Kurt27, I hope that I have been of some help.
