- My complaint is similar, only I wound up getting the camera and paying $75 for amounts to $10 elsewhere for a battery and charger. This place is a total scam and its sad that these assholes can continue to lie and cheat the public. I notified American Express, but all they do is set up a letter writing complaint. I will continue to provide information on this fradulent activity as they continue to rip off the unsuspecting public and nobody seems to be able to do anything about it, to include the credit card companies.

- CompuDeals2U Complaint 43609 for $0.00

- Oh my. I had a similar incident with this company today! I had ordered a Nikon L120 about a week ago. I got an email to contact them. I called and the guy told me they didn't have the camera in red and would I accept the black model. I said yes. Then he asks me if I ordered the digital batteries & charger and I told him I can get batteries. He explained that I can't use regular batteries because nikon has identified a problem with using regular batteries, that they will leak. He quotes me a price of 29$ and change, and also said they had the charger. So I said yes. Then when I got home I called them to cancel the battery order Nd he tells me that if I cancel it I won't get the "upgraded" camera, which was never mentioned in the first call. He tells me the camera I ordered is from Turkey but they upgraded me to the US model along with the order of the batteries and charger. I asked him what the difference is between the two cameras and he says that unless I can speak Turkish the instructions aren't going to be helpful. I told him the ad didnt list it was from Turkey and he said that's why they can sell them for $179.00. So I said ok. Then I called back a few minutes later and cancelled the order. what a scam. I'm reporting them to the federal trade commission tomorrow.
