  • I was stupid, too. I applied for $3000 & they told me I could only get about $2400 because they had to take off for taxes. The Western Sky rep told me that I had to pay back $2500 & that's it. The minute I received the money in my back account I was told I would have to pay back $13,000. I was shocked and didn't know what to say; and a week later CashCall calls me up telling me that they brought my account from Western Sky. The CashCall rep told me that I had to pay back $13,000. I was so upset that I called everywhere. On top of that, CashCall kept going into my bank account - no one cared because it got to the point that I had so many charges coming out of my bank account that I started having overdrafts. No one wanted to pay me back, or credit me, or review the files to see the large financial error for the loan. This company acts like a loan shark business. When my grandmother, niece, & one brother died, I still was getting emails and phone messages about how I better pay the money or else I would regret it.

  • I was contacted on the phone by a caller from Washington, DC, claiming to be from Western Sky. Then was contacted by someone else claiming to be from Cash Call. They offered me a $5000 loan and I asked them to call me back as I was busy. They have called back numerous times, mostly to hang up, when I answered. I finally called Western Sky and they put me through to someone at Cash Call, because they handle the actual loans and said that there was no loan information under my Social Security number. The call I got was from Washington, DC and they told me to call a Los Angeles number. The first was a landline with no known name attahced. The second was a cell phone with no known name attached to it. Be very careful.

  • I was stupid enough to get a loan from this "company". I have paid, by my estimation 600% Apr. When I called last month to see if I could have an extension on my payment date, I got the third degree from a customer service rep. I mean, come on, you are a rip off payday loan company. It's none of your business what I did with my paycheck. I've been paying you, you money-grubbing Shylocks! If I ever get this SOB company paid off, I will finally have learned my lesson.

  • Everyone should borrow 1000.00 from them and tell them to get lost. This sovereign nation (Inappropriate Content Removed) is only partially true. Remember, you can put a sign up in your front yard saying you arent rersponsible if someone slips on your snow covered sidewalk, but that doesnt make it true. It is against Federal Law to have someone sign or agree to terms that are predatory and contrary to the Laws of the State you reside in IF they wish to do business in your State. The problem here is there are so many people getting scammed that the Feds will only touch it if it involves a huge amount of money. Again I say everyone should take these (Inappropriate Content Removed) for a few grand each and they will eventually go away. BTW if they pull an unauthorized bureau on you, you have recourse because the big three stipulate that the person pulling the report is doing so under the "permissable use" statutes and that they can be prosecuted if they do not have permissable use.

  • I went with western sky and they told me it was not pay day loan and they sold it to Cash call which is a payday loan they are cahrging 135 % and a 1000 loan is costing me an out rangeous price. I find this false advertisment. This company should have to let you know they are selling it as soon as they get you fiance.

  • I too needed a little help, and took the chance with Western Sky - BIG MISTAKE. The millisecond they got the loan they sold it to a Mafia want -to-be outfit called CashCall. These princes do not comprehend the word involuntarily unemployed. They are rude, abusive, and nasty and demand that you find someone – ANYONE to borrow the money from. They expect you to forgo rent, car payment to pay them first, and then charge you up to $40/month for the privilege of siphoning money out of your account. AVOID WESTERN SKY AND CASH CALL!

  • I DISAGREE. They should have read EVERY word of any contract involving money they would have taken out automatically from their bank account every month. Western Sky is genius, apparently. They deserve every dime they make, because, by rights, since they display EVERY SINGLE THING that people are complaining about. They ACTUALLY shouldn't make a single dime, in fact, no one should ever get a loan from them, simply because the majority of people who get loans from them can read.

  • Darlin, you took out the money from a company that TOLD you the interest would be more than 100%, and you got it in YOUR name, not your exboyfriends. now he has a car he doesn't have to give back, that's in his name, and you have a giant bill you are liable for. there is literally nothing you can do except get another phone in someone elses name, and hope they don't come for your property, or your IRS tax refunds.

  • it doesn't make sense that you would offer to pay 166$ a month for 3 years for a loan you didn't take out in the first place. methinks you're leaving out some details. just because you post on scambook that you don't remember a loan, doesn't make it true. no sane person would offer to pay 6000!!! for a 4000 dollar loan they DIDNT TAKE OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
