  • I received 2 threatening emails from Briggs today, guys name Jason Jeter.Just like you I dont remember ever having a loan from this company, because I never did.Somehow they got a hold of my Banking and Social Security information. So I did change my bank account and put fraud alerts up with the 3 big credit bureaus.Everything this scumbag is doing is illegal. They cannot attach your wages or get a Judgement againist you because its bogus. They have to show proof of Loan and if there was ever a loan the bank would have records of Deposit, you dont have to prove it,they do.They wont go any further than threats because they cant just file a lawsuit without documented proof.I am personally going after these jerks, they have messed with the wrong Guy.Watch your bank account and let your bank know of possible fraud, they will most likely change your account number..If you ignore it ,you will be fine.First thing if they file againist you(which they wont)it has to be done from you local area and they have to show up in court. No legitimate company or Law Firm would waste their time or money.Do yourself a favor and keep in your saved mail all emails from them, those emails alone are illegal as they are threatening to sue you over a non existant account. And dont let it worry you,its a Scam..
