  • I experienced the same and just want to advise folks to call their bank and tell them not to pay out the money and open up a case with the bank if it was already paid. This way you draw attention to the banks and they may start putting this business on their "bad list" and will not pay out the note to the company since their become known to them as scammers. I think your bank may even be able to protect you and re-submit the money into your account. Check it out. Get your money back and buy food!!

  • This comment submitted by Toun above is the same thing I experienced. The weird thing is that the tel. number for the company "Simple Internet Buiilder" is 855.449.3522 has an outgoing message that instructs callers that they can get help online at [email protected] which is the e-mail address for this page. They are taunting the organization that is attempting to catch them by sending people to the cop that is trying to catch them and claiming that the cops website is their own. Talk about nerve! This is what criminals do, they thumb their nose at the cops and taunt them. They are good at their scam job-- that much I will give them credit for, but alas, in the end there is a special place in hell for these heartless criminals. Let's get 'em!!

  • I had a similar hassle exacerbated by the fact that I have virtually NO computer skills. After dealing with about 30 min. of stonewalling, I was finally connected with a supervisor who told me my bank had the ohone number of the merchant. When I called, I was given a spiel trying to get me to at least try the system but was given a confirmation number for a credit card refund after deciding that I wasn't going to try this at this time. The number is (888)841-5446.

  • Call your bank right now and explain to them that you have been scammed by this company via them hacking into your daughter's email. The bank can do a chargeback and/or cancel your card, to stop them from taking out any further charges from you. Then call the company and cancel your membership and demand a full refund. Tell them that you have already notified your bank/fraud office of their scam exploits.

  • I did the same - see my post on 10 Dec. My password didn't work either, so I emailed back but no answer until today. Here it is:

    "Unfortunately you must call our live support staff to get that issue / question resolved, we will be glad to assist you. Please contact customer support at one of the number below. I assure you our customer support representative will walk you through any issues you may have. We know your time is important, so I want to thank you again for contacting us and allowing me to resolve your issue.     I emailed back requesting a full refund but they just sent me a similar standard email saying 'Due to the security of your information you must call the support phone number below for a refund to be carried out.'
