  • i to was an idiot but it is the way they fast talked you into thinking your on your way to financial freedom. you can get your money back, not through them but through your credit card they charged on. call your credit card and dispute the charge, just tell them the truth, you were scammed and tell them about the coaches and e-library and send them whatever info you can, good example would be the other complaints on this site the company profile and out of 13 complaints, reported damages $106,249.51 with oo.oo refunds. your credit cards have a protection policy that automaticly comes with the card and that is to protect you from scams like this and other unauthorized charges, etc.. they will contact the company and thee company has so many days to respond (30 i believe), if they don't your card will credit back your money. even though you signed a contract with them, they are not honnering their services to you and an important thing i just found because i just now got a copy of my contract is they claim they do not and can not make any guarantees of success but will attempt to guarantee satisifaction of service. well i can say with out hesitation they did guarantee i would make a profit. they verbaly said that to me more than once so they with that alone breached their own contract. don't worry what they stole from you because you can get it all back. if for any reason your credit card won't work with you (and that is very unlikely) there are several other means of getting you money. post back and let me know if you contacted your credit card and disputed the charge and let them do the work for you. if that fails then i will go into other means of how to.. but your credit card company is your best bet. hope that helped your doubts. connie

  • you can dispute it through your credit card they charged. they charged 2 of my cards and that is what i am doing. the more proof you can send them the better your chances. copy all the complaints and the company report and fax your credit card, they will remove the charges . don't think they can just take your money and get away with it because they can't. the took almost $13,000. from me and i guarantee i will get it back. another company affiliated with focus called, never saying they were another company and charged over $5,000. on another credit card of mine. i sent him an email and told him i wanted to cancell whatever this was and it was fraud how he didn't say he wasn't from focuslc but an affiliate. told him i reported it to my credit card already and requested a refund from them (the company) the very next day i got an email saying they received my cancelation request and will credit my card back which they did that same day. this guy had told me earlier in our 1 phone call that i was past the 3 day period to cancel but within the 15 days and would take a 15% fee out but they didn't i got all my money back. when you stand up to these scammers and let them know they have scammed you then file a dispute with your credit card, you will get your money back. don't even think because they told you they can't refund you that you can't get your money back because there are many options avaailable to you. people can't do this and get away with it unless you don't do anything about it. they hacked into your computer to have even gotten your name. let them know you now know this and see i you don't get some action. hope this helped. connie

  • I have heard and been a part of many of these stories. I now have3 a complaint with the state attorney general's office, The FBI, local law enforcement and my next move is to get an attorney. I would suggest that anyone that has been scammed by these companies do the same. Also contact the FTC at consumerfiniance.gov, the US Postal Service at postalinspectors.uspis.gov and maybe someone can shut down these vultures and put a stop to honest, hard working people from being ripped off.

  • I too have been through the same with these companies. There are a few avenues you can take with filing complaints to the right offices. Send me an email (Personal Information Removed) and I can give you the links to the companies that aid in getting refunds to those apart of at home business scams as well as detailed instructions on how to file formal letters of complaint with the FTC.

  • TO ANONYMOUS FOCUSLC.COM $15963 FALSE ADVERTISING COMPLAINT. YOU DO NOT SAY HOW YOU PAID. I AM JUST ANOTHER CONSUMER BUT MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN ON VARIOUS THINGS THAT MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY WILL OFTEN REMOVE THE CHARGE IF I DISPUTE IT FOR A FAIRLY GOOD REASON. THE SOONER YOU DISPUTE THE BETTER. IF THEY ADMITTED HACKING YOU HAVE ESPECIALLY GOOD GROUNDS. EVEN IT THEY DO NOT ADMIT IT BUT YOU SAY YOU BELIEVE THAT IS HOW IT MUST HAVE HAPPENED. GOOD LUCK.

  • Hello Connie, my name is Michael Oliver and my wife and I have too been scammed by these guys sweet talking us for just over $5500. We did get the LLC for NC state and although I think the initial amount of $1500 was way too much I did pay and not really complaining about that. I am however complaining about Catalyst Coaching and Focuslc as I have just received an email stating that my subscription failed to go though for what I thought was completely covered when I paid the initial $5500 or so. Luckily the credit card they had on file had been compromised a month back and so they have no way of charging anything additional. I have called their billing department, spoke with a Tiffany and asked if I could have this so called contract I signed stating how much I agreed to and for how long. She has since avoided most of my calls and emails and today I just received a call back. The first go around she emailed me but forgot to send the attachment. Second round I got the same email but with an attachment with a generic "Terms of Service Agreement" dated 2009. I called back and asked her where on this is my name and where does it say how much. She went around in circles reading what is said on the terms of service but I still do not have anything in writing saying I agreed to anything monthly which I would not have willingly signed for after paying out over $5500. I am looking to sue these guys for every penny but think it would be great if we can all get together and do this. I think if more people bring up a lawsuit, they will be forced to settle probably out of court. Please let me know if anyone is having any thoughts of any lawsuits. Email me at (Personal Information Removed)

  • if you want your money back then our best chances are for all of us who have been scammed by this deceptive company ( they took me for over $12,000) to write a short letter with the amount of loss and your signature and if you want to email it to me I will print all of them and send them to several agencys. the attorney general in UT and OR, the FTC, CFPB, CP,GOV. org and many many more. i have been fighting my battle oalmost a year now but to little avail. i feel if done in number our chances increase greatly so i am asking people who have been abused and scammed by this company to fight your battle with me and lets send in as many as possible at one time to be heard, sending in 400 complaints instead of one will get noticed. i will continue to fight until i get the justice i deserve so if you feel the same lets do it together.

  • shame on them and i am so sorry they took your money. please don't believe anything else they have to say as you will only loose more money. they do not care about you nor do they want anything but your money. they got me for over $12,000 and although one credit card did reverse the charge back to the merchant, the other credit card did not. i have disputed it 6 times and they have favored the merchant each time. my evidence is powerful, prooving the merchant is scamming and so i am trying to get people who have been scammed by this company to fight this battle with me for our money and to shut them down. only in the power of numbers will we be heard. with a short description o what happened and how much money they took and our signature, i can send it in to the many agencys that will have to look at it and our chances of getting justice increase. i have been fighting this battle for almost a year with little in my favor yet if we all do this together our chances will be so much greater that i feel we can not only get our money back, i feel we can shut this company down and i also feel get some policys changed at the banks making them responsible to contact their card members when they see a merchant that is on their scammer list and notify them of this also allowing you so many days to investigate the company before you commit to their contract or if you so choose decline to join the company. the banks need to work on behalf of the card member because they have a great advantage and can also aid in shutting these companys down along with saving their card members thousands of dollars. that is unless the bank is getting a kick back from the merchant. i would like to know if we all have a cetain bank in common. if you would like to help me fight my battle by fighting yours then lets band together and do this. please don't just let them take away from you. you did nothing wrong, they cheated you, lied and will do it to thousands more. lets end this now.

  • if we gather together all of us who have been scammed by this deceptive company, we can make a difference and help shut down this company plus get our money back. i to was scammed but refunded by one credit card and the other after 6 disouted still favors the merchant (crystal consulting) saying they have supplied evidence to support the charge. welll ....... sohave i and i feel they never looked at what i sent in. i have written several agencys and wiwll continue to fight for the $9,000. left on my credit card. maybe if we get enough signatures and in short what happened to each of us, send it to the district attorney in UT or OR along to the FTC, CFPB, CPB, GOV.org and so many others we will get heard but it will take monr than just one of us to do it it will take as many as possible. i hope you guys are wanting you money back as much as i am because they have tarnished a perfect credit history for me. i am a fighter and with others who are fighters it's worth a shot. id rather fight this battle then run from it or simply accept it which i refuse to do. i am moving forward no matter what but if you would like to , lets all do it together.

  • you were lead along with false promises not to mention they breach their own contract. i see they have changed the hype by not saying you will make so much in 3 months. if you have not contacted any one concerning being scammed you should. you were scammed, don't take it as your fault. there are several agencys available out ther for you. i suggest the one you go to is the FTC.org and it opens the door to many more from that site or GOV>org. not to mention have you disputed this with your credit card companys? Don't accept what happened, work for your rights and to get your money back. it isn't easy and i have been working hrd on it for almost a year but refuse to give up and refuse to pay. i am trying to get policys changed by making banks responsible as they have first hand knowledge of scamming companys and when they see a charge from one they should contact the card member and share the information , then allow them so many days to investigate for them selves and decide if they so choose to remain with the company or report tham as a scam. i find the banks negligent in many ways yet it would be so easy for them to change a few things and work for the consumer and help stop scamming. anyone who is interested is helping me do this would be great because we can change things if in numbers and i want my money back and this company shut down.

  • They charged on2 of my credit cards, 1 reversed the charges back to the merchant and the other, it was disputed 6 times and every time they favored the merchant and refused to credit my card Crystal Consulting was who charged my card but Focuslc was the co. suppoedly working with me. I filed with the FTC, the Cunsumer Financial Protection Bureau, Consumer Protection, and a few others but have not gotten any answers or refund for hte $9,000.32 remaining. It has now gone back on my card as my responsibility to pay but I refuse to pay for money the bank handed out to a scammer. I even contacted my bank and told them I had just been scammed prior to the charges posting yet they would not decline the charged per my request and posted them the next day and said I could dispute them. Sure thing Fopcus only solution by Jeremy Turner was to rejoin the company, no refund was even a possibility. I am diligently going to continue writting agency's until I find someone who will actually listen to my claim, read what I have to say and investigate this scamming, deceptive company and shut them down, only after we all get refunded. I do this not just for me but all who have been scammed by this company. I aim to succeed.

  • sorry to hear you were taken by this company also. They got me for $8600 they initially tried for 14,500. I think that people also need to know that they also go by the name of Crystal consulting, INC also. At least that's whose name is on the receipt I got from them. When I asked for an itemized receipt they said they can't do that. I hope they get theirs one day and everybody is able to get their money back. We all have to keep trying for a refund no matter what it takes. Has anybody actually gotten a phone call from scambook after posting their complaint? My luck focuslc probably has stock in this website also. lol

  • I am in the same situation as you. They have offered me nothing that I couldn't learn on my own. I attempted to get my money back from my credit card company, but have been unsuccessful since it has been more than 90 days. I have been able to block them from charging the elibrary fee. I am so disgusted with this company. I am unsure who to contact to get at least a partial refund. Are there enough people out there willing to file a suit against them?

  • My mother received an email from a friend stating that she could make around $2500 a month from home. My mother just retired but was getting antsy and needed to do something with all the extra time she now had on her hands. So, she contacted FocusLC.com and spoke to a gentleman about starting a home business. She was informed that she needed to invest money, you know the whole ploy it takes money to make money. My mother really doesn’t know anything about running a business or a computer for that matter, so the whole pitch on her getting a coach to walk her through everything really sold her.
She paid them $12,995 to start and shortly after that she started receiving calls from other representatives asking her to pay more money. She never received ANY of the services they promised her. When I first heard of what my mother did I was angry at her but then realized that its FocusLC.com is to blame. I also contacted her friend that referred her to this company and she had no idea what I was talking about. Right then and there, I realized my mother was scammed.
I have tried to contact the company several times on my mother’s behalf and got nowhere with therm. I was told that they had a 3 day cancellation policy and it was after that so there was nothing we could do. That answer was totally unacceptable to me as they never did what they were paid for. I have contacted the FTC and the Attorney General to file complaints against them. I have also contacted a law form to help us get all or some of the money back. I spoke to Sylvia Daise 205-636-9398, and she informed us that we had rights. She never even charged us any upfront fees!!!
FocusLC.com can’t just take payment for something and not provide the services they were paid for. They can’t be able to just get away with scamming people like this. They have to own up to what they are doing and pay the consequences for their actions. What FocusLC.com does is UNETHICAL and IMMORAL…END OF STORY!!
