  • I had the same thing happen to me, I refused to mail back the Hello Kitty bag that I received instead of the Vaneli shoes I ordered. Mailing the Hello Kitty back with tracking number cost $29.00 shipping. What a crock. PayPal refunded my money. Demand a refund from PayPal. They have an obligation to not send any payments to this individual/company/SCAM artist and don't seem to be doing anything about it. I will be contacting PayPal on Friday after reviewing the number of complaints on here.

  • I also lost money with Angela-Shoes, however, I filed a complaint with paypal and told paypal about scambook, then once I received a Mickey Mouse Plastic Bag, and the package clearly weighed 0.05 pounds, paypal knew this was not the weight of a pair of shoes, I got my money back, also filed a complaint with the Feds. You can google fraud websites and look where to file a complaint with the Federal Government, any site wanting money is not the Federal Level and also a scam, just make sure you are in the right website when filing a complaint. I received my money back.

    I ordered my shoes from Angela-shoes and now I cannot find the website again, I don't know what happened? I think they have it under another name, then after you pay with paypal the name Angela-shoes.com appears and emails with fake email address are sent.

  • They also did not respond to any of my emails. I payed through paypal and they helped me get my money back.
    In my case I received a package from china with a hannah montana plastic bag inside. When seller finally responded (after a filed a claim through paypal), they put a condition. I will get my money back, if I send the wrong item back to... CHINA. of course I pay for the shippping.

    I called paypal direcetly and they told me not to send anything back. They refunded me the money same day.

  • If you get the response to your claim to send the item to china before you can get you money back, call paypal. This is the seller that puts that condition, not paypal. I called paypal. they were very helpful. They said it looks like a scam. Asked me not to send anything back and refunded me the money - got it back the same day i called.

  • Same here-- but with Ben-Shoes, their alter-ego. I just spoke to Paypal about it, after having the original dispute (a "not received" claim) was contested at the last minute by the "seller," who sent them the tracking number. Interestingly, there was nothing in or on the package (a Hannah Montana bag) to indicate it had anything to do with my shoe order, and I think they may have hurt themselves there.

    Anyhow, now the claim has been changed to "wrong item sent," and the Paypal rep said, "We'll get your money back!"

    This kind of scam is apparently on the rise. Sadly, I'd thought, "This looks almost too good to be true" when I bought the Propet Travel Walkers in bright yellow for $16.99, with free shipping... and it WAS!

  • Ask for a chargebook and cite evidence on www.scambook.com -- you'll find more info elsewhere on these scammera. I complained to Paypal and told them that there was plenty of evidence this merchant is nothing but a crook. Goes under clothing-angel.com, angelasonlinemall.com and other synonyms. all the same crooks. Based on prior complaints to Paypal, you should be able to get a chargeback. It is up to Paypal to shut them down!

  • I went to a similar site "Ben-shoes" Same set up as the site you mentioned. I did received confirmation of order placement but no shoes. According to their site, I should have received the shoes already. Same deal with paypal. I already called my credit card company to make sure I was covered. I will give them a few more days and then I am reporting them to Paypal and American Express. Thanks for your post!

  • I have had the same experience also. Paypal just reviewed everything and has asked me to return the mousepad back to China. Is it even worth it if Paypal probably isn't going to give me my $55.00 back anyway? I'm sure the shipping to send the stupid mousepad back is going to be expensive anyway. Has anyone actually gotten their money back from Paypal? This is really disappointing that these crooks are just getting away with this. I feel like Paypal doesn't even care and are likely not doing anything to resolve this.
